Departures at 8:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. with a minimum of 2 people This desert tour is approximately 12 to 14 km long and passes through the dry bed of the Swakop River and up and down amazing dunes. Although everyone enjoys the unique landscapes, it is necessary to be in good physical shape and to know how to ride a bike to fully enjoy this excursion.

Living Desert in 4x4 & on foot

Exploration lasting 4 to 5 hours, in the dunes south of Swakopmund. Discovery of a stunning eco-system, where plants and animals will amaze you! This activity can be booked in the morning or afternoon.

Hata Angu Cultural Tour

Hosts lead daily tours to Mondesa township in Swakopmund, Namibia. Their objective is to give the traveler the opportunity to meet the inhabitants of the popular district of Mondesa and to learn more about its inhabitants and their cultures. Accompanied by your local guide, you will wander the streets and have the opportunity to chat with locals, visit their homes and gain a fascinating insight into a typical Namibian township. The hosts strive to include as many different cultures and people as possible. Currently, Herero, Nama, Damara and Ovambo cultures are represented. The tour includes drinks and culinary discoveries...you stop at the local shebeen (African pub) and taste traditional dishes in an Ovambo hut. In the evening, the OB Street dancers will entertain you. They perform traditional Ovambo dances around the fire, and at 11 a.m. you visit a kindergarten. These tours last 4 hours and depart twice a day, at 11 a.m. and 3-4 p.m. A minimum of 2 people per visit is required. Bring your camera to take unique photos...with permission of course! But the most important thing is to have a big smile, an open mind and enjoy meeting the wonderful people of Namibia.

The Lagoon & the port of Walvis by boat

This is what this “DOLPHIN CRUISE” offers you, one of the flagship activities on the coast, which will take up the morning (09:00 - 12:30).

The desert & the coast sandboarding

Do you want to have a “fun” and pleasant time, exercise physically and enjoy an exceptional setting? This Sandboarding activity may interest you. Indeed, it is while lying on a board or snowboard that you slide down our coastal dunes at full speed (up to 80km/h for the most adventurous!). Sandboarding usually takes place in the morning, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., but can also be reserved for the afternoon if weather conditions permit (not too windy). No experience is necessary and you will be briefed on the basics of this sport by a cheerful and dynamic team. Drinks and snacks will be made available to you at the end of the activity.

What should you take with you?

• Closed shoes are essential for people in a lying position

• Dress for the weather (long sleeves and long pants are not essential).
• Jacket, windbreaker or fleece

• Cameras in a sand-resistant backpack or case

The Beaches Beach Drive (approx. 3 hours)

From amazing starfish and peculiar sea slugs, to feisty crabs and unique rock fish, you'll encounter a captivating array of creatures. This experience promises unforgettable family moments! Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for intriguing treasures such as “mermaid purses” and beautiful seashells, perfect souvenirs to cherish. As you immerse yourself in the marine ecosystem, you will also have the opportunity to observe various seabirds and learn about the rich history of shipwrecks, including Kolmanskop and Patrysberg. Prepare to be captivated by a mystical tale that will leave you speechless. Beach exploration is best done at low tide. Therefore, the excursion begins approximately one hour before low tide.
