Thanks to its Mediterranean climate, winters in Split are mild. In spring, the average temperature is 20°C, and sunny days are ideal for walks in Marjan, excursions and even swimming. In this season Split begins to live its outdoor life, when its streets and squares begin to wake up.

Split

Split can boast of having an excellent tourist offer and its palace, historical core, is the symbol of this. The city also includes an important promenade, the Split Embankment, better known as the Riva. A must-see place that you should see is the main fruit and vegetable market, the “Pazar”, a place where the colors, aromas and flavors of Dalmatia and the Mediterranean flourish.

 
Hvar town:
Hvar

The island of Hvar (or Lesina in Italian) is one of the best-known islands in Croatia. Described as chic, there are many luxury residences there. With its postcard settings (the island is often cited among the 10 most beautiful islands in the world), it is particularly popular with vacationers.

 
Visit Solin:
Flashing

Solin is a small town located inland in central Dalmatia, just 5 km from Split. Solin (or Salona) is quite famous for being the birthplace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian and also the capital of Dalmatia during the Roman era. As such an important settlement in Roman times, you might imagine that Solin is home to some impressive Roman structures – and indeed it is!

If you visit Solin, you will find the amazing remains of a Roman amphitheater. Solin is certainly a nice place to spend a day, and given its location and impressive sights, it's perfect as a day trip from Split.
