Nestled in the heart of the vineyard, the winegrower's guest table is 0 waste and 100% local products. Attached to nature, the fairies only use eco-friendly, local and organic products, they will surprise and seduce all your senses. You will discover the vineyard and the champagnes of the Dumont family.
Meet at the estate at 11 a.m., you will begin the experience with a discovery of Champagne viticulture with the particularities of the Dumont champagne vines, grown organically and biodynamically. You will continue this friendly moment around a meal shared with the Dumont family, where you will discover local products and wine-growers' dishes. This will be an opportunity for the winegrowers to let you taste some of their vintages.
- Hiking: hiking trail maps available in the gîte
- Walk in the village, discovering the 16th century church of Saint Jacques le Majeur. In the valley of the Bucey stream there is a charming 15th century manor house, surrounded by a moat and, very close by, the Roises washhouse from 1880, all made of brick and restored.
- A body of water 14 km away, in Paisy-Cosdon, which offers large green spaces ideal for relaxation. Walk around the lake, supervised swimming in July-August, picnic stop, mini-golf, fishing, catering on site.
- The flavors circuit in Pays d'Othe and Armance to discover the flavors and colors of this territory: This agro-tourist circuit brings together around twenty farmers from Pays d'Othe and Armance who produce, transform and sell their production directly at their place of operation. By signing the quality charter, the producers have committed to promoting local products: tastings, visits, activities... and to the simple, friendly and personalized welcome they offer you on their farms!
- The Stained Glass Route will allow you to discover the fabulous stained glass windows of Aube in Champagne. The Web application, accessible from the route-vitrail.fr website or as a free download on Smartphone, offers you rich content (texts, photos, videos for each building) to make it easier for you to discover the bays in each building. All of the glass roofs are presented there, supplemented by some highlights on remarkable stained glass windows such as the bay of Petrarch's Triumphs in the church of Ervy-le-Châtel. You will also find information on the master glassmakers, workshops and artists involved, without forgetting a historical and architectural description of the place.

The cottage is located in Pays d'Othe, a hilly region with rich landscapes and a remarkable heritage, 10 minutes from the A5 (exit 20) and 20 minutes from Troyes, the medieval town with its half-timbered houses, its 10 listed churches as well as its manufacturers' boutiques
Philippe will welcome you to his characterful gîte located in a 19th century building, entirely renovated with old and ecological materials. Its two bedrooms (one of 14 m2 for 2 people, one of 27 m2 with a bed for 2 people and two single beds) will seduce you with their lime paintings. Its large dining room/living room with its old fireplace and pellet stove will charm you. Fully equipped kitchen with induction hob, electric oven and microwave, refrigerator, LV and LL.
Independent entrance, private flowered courtyard with garden furniture, armchairs, deck chairs and barbecue for you to relax on sunny days. A barn restored to house two vehicles.
ADSL internet connection, telephone to national landline numbers, Orange TV included in the rental.
