Day 1: Arrival at Colombo International Airport

You are welcomed upon your arrival at Colombo International Airport by your private driver.
You head towards Aluthgama on the west coast and settle into your accommodation Colombo-Aluthgama International Airport-120km-1 hour 30 minutes.

You will discover the incredibly rich and diverse fauna and flora of Sri Lanka. You start the day gently on the waters of the Bentota River . You enjoy the discovery trip of the mangrove by boat. You can see crocodiles, bats, monitor lizards, snakes, and birds of all species. A whole ecosystem is available to you. Duration-Approximately 3 hours
Typical local cooking class
You go to the fruit and vegetable market to select the ingredients for your meal. Then you learn about local cuisine and taste the typical dishes of the country. Assemblies, spices, cooking... Traditional local cuisine will no longer hold any secrets for you. Duration-Approximately 3 hours

Galle Walled City Tour
Your driver will take you to Galle located in the South of the Island. You visit this peaceful city built around its fort and its lighthouse... Former Portuguese and then Dutch port, demonstration of European colonial power in Asia, the fortified city of Galle is home to a fortress listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. Snorkeling and Surfing in Hikkaduwa
Your driver takes you to Hikkaduwa . Hikkaduwa is the ideal spot for surfing and snorkeling . Enjoy the ambient heat, the underwater depths and the movement of the waves of the Indian Ocean. Aluthgama-Hikkaduwa-40 km-1 hour Duration-Approximately 1 day

Your driver will take you to Kitulgala . Kitulgala might awaken some memories in you. This is in fact where The Bridge on the River Kwai was filmed. You set off on the rapids of the Kelani Ganga for a rafting descent. Enjoy these moments of pure adventure in the heart of spectacular wooded gorges! Then, you visit a tea factory near Gampola. You will be introduced to tea making. Enjoy a cup of tea made from freshly picked leaves. Let these moments of calm and tranquility infuse you.
The next day, you discover the Temple of the Tooth in the heart of Kandy. This Temple houses a relic of Buddha, a sacred place of pilgrimage for all Buddhists. You visit the lively city and its streets full of stalls. Then return to your accommodation in Aluthgama

Ascent of Lion Rock and Pidurangala
Your driver will take you to Sigiriya . In the afternoon, you climb Pidurangala . Pidurangala Rock is less touristy and allows you to admire Lion Rock in all its splendor. It could even be that the sunset surprises you in its declining course... You then return to your accommodation in Sigiriya. You enjoy the swimming pool and relax.
The next day, you set off to climb Lion Rock . It is one of the major sites of Sri Lanka. Lion Rock is one of the most captivating sites and also classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The ruins of the citadel are perched on top of a rock which rises to 370 m. King Kashyapa undertook its construction in the 5th century and it served as protection for the surrounding villages. You admire the grandiose view which extends over the jungle and the gardens at the foot of the rock. During the ascent you can admire the famous frescoes of the “Ladies of Sigiriya” representing women with arms laden with flowers and adorned with jewelry.
Then return to your accommodation in Aluthgama. Along the way, you discover the temple of Siri Gautama . Not very touristy and yet it is incredibly modern and beautiful.
