Local flavours of Siem Reap :
Walking through the Siem Reap centreYou will find a number of delicious surprises: a selection of tasty dishes known from Cambodian cuisine.
To start your exploration, around 5:30 pm, transfer by tuk tuk to the heart of the city, in a local house, you will be served an aperitif and an assortment of local dishes that Khmers love. You will continue to a secret but famous local destination where they serve the traditional saak koh ang: grilled beef with vegetables, accompanied by local beer or other drinks. The evening will continue with a visit to the night market, followed by a final tasty local stop, before ending your dining adventure by the river to enjoy a traditional dessert. All these gastronomic stops will make for a very tasty evening!
Return by tuk tuk to your accommodation.

Cooking classes in an organic garden:
You will be welcomed by the chef who will give you a presentation of Cambodian cuisine and culture. After the visit of the local market, your tuk tuk will drive you to the organic garden where you will have an explanation of the different stages of Cambodian agriculture. You will also pick up the vegetables needed to make the recipes. You can then begin the challenge of cooking Cambodian food at your own stand!

Option 1: Entering the local art world in Siem Reap
Guided by your dedicated tuktuk driver, you will set off to discover Siem Reap's local art galleries.
You will enjoy a cocktail and generous snacks to enjoy the moments of this artistic experience.
Duration: 3 hours
Not possible on Sundays and Mondays.
Option 2: 1 day tour of Angkor by tuk tuk (Angkor Wat-Bay On-Ta Prohm)
Day visit of the famous and grandiose site ofAngkor by tuk tuk. You will first visit Angkor Thom (the "great city") and then the majestic Ta Prohm often called the "Tomb Raider temple".
During your day of exploring the temples of the majestic Angkor Archaeological Park, you will pass the Srah Srang baray, a reservoir used for royal baths during the Khmer Empire. Here you can enjoy a private home-made lunch and relax in a charming Khmer wooden house, away from the crowds.
Afterwards, enjoy a foot massage foot massage on the spot.
In the afternoon, you will go to the wonderful and gigantic temple ofAngkor Wat, classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and which has remained an important religious centre since its creation in the 12th century. It also offers a moment out of time, as you walk through its vegetation-covered walls...
Option 3: Visit of the Kbal Spean-Banteay Srei-Banteay Samre temples and village activities:
Early in the morning, departure for an excursion to Kbal Speanto the north of Angkor.
Then take part in the life of a life of a local village:
You will discover and help in the different stages of rice noodle making and then enjoy your production with the family.
Then, you will go to another village specialised in the production of glutinous rice cooked in bamboo and harvesting coconuts. You will watch the preparation and filling of the bamboo while enjoying Cambodian snacks and fresh coconut.
On the road, you will find various stands of sugar palms. The locals will explain to you all the ways they use the fruit. Don't be shy and try it!
For your last stop, you will stop at a house where the family makes and sells palm leaf handicrafts. handicrafts made from palm leaves. They will show you how to create an object that you can then keep as a souvenir of your experience!
Lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will visit Banteay Srei (the "citadel of women"), dedicated to Shiva, whose architecture and pink sandstone sculptures are a masterpiece of Khmer art.
Stop at Banteay Samrea beautiful temple built in the same artistic style as Angkor Wat.
Option 4: Visit the floating village of Kampong Kleang:
In the morning, transfer to the village of Kampong Kleang where you will embark on a local boat and meander (1h30) quietly on the Tonle Sap lake to observe the small floating villages.
Then picnic lunch in a local house.
Return to your accommodation.
Distance: Siem Reap / Kompong Khleang - 52 kilometres (1 hour and 30 minutes), both ways
Option 5: Discover the Angkor complex by bicycle:
During this bike tour, you will discover famous remote Angkorian temples. You will cycle between the different sites on small, unspoilt paths and through forest, temples and villages. Your visit will end with two 10th century temples: Mebon East and Pre Rub. On the way back, you will cycle through the countryside and admire the beautiful rice fields before stopping to watch the sunset at Srah Srang.
Distance and duration of the bike tour: 38 kilometres - 4 hours
Difference in altitude: less than 150 metres (+25 metres / - 36 metres)
Type of terrain: paved roads, narrow paths through the jungle and small roads through local villages
Transport: a vehicle will accompany you all day - 10 kilometres - 20 minutes (from the end of the tour to the hotel).
Note: the distance to be cycled can be increased to 48 kilometres by reducing the length of the transfer.

Discovery of the Battambang countryside in 2 days 1 night:
Day 1 :Siem Reap-Battambang
In the morning, you will leave by road for Battambang via Sisophon. On the way, you will make a stop in a village where stone carvers live, with their ancestral know-how. This is an opportunity to discover their techniques and their way of life, by exchanging with them during a privileged moment.
Distance: 163 kilometres - 4 hours
Lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, a walk in the colonial quarter.
The Bamboo Train is one of the most famous attractions in Battambang. It is a unique and really fun way to see the most beautiful rural landscapes of Battambang, plus it is incredibly authentic to admire the beauty of the area in this way.
Duration: 45 minutes
Finally, a visit to Phnom Sampov which dominates the landscape with its natural and historical site known for its various sanctuaries and temples built on the top of the hill, most of which are memorials to its "murder caves" of the Khmer Rouge era. Phnom Sampov is best known for the daily spectacle of its bat caves. At the end of the day, sit at the foot of the hill to watch the millions of bats emerge from the caves for the night.

Day 2 :Battambang-Siem Reap
The tour of Battambang by bike is an unusual way to get off the beaten track and experience the real life of the Cambodian hinterland. Observe the daily activities of the locals such as the making of handmade knives and the preparation of sticky rice and the traditional fish paste called prahok.
Distance: 20 kilometres to Ek Phnom (the last 8 kilometres are optional)
Lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, return to Siem Reap (4h).
